Reconcile a month
A reconciliation proves your Talisk books agree with the bank for a period.
- Go to Ledger › Banking › Reconciliation.
- Click Start New Reconciliation.
- Choose the bank account and the statement period, enter the statement's closing balance, and tick off the transactions that appear on the statement.
When the cleared transactions match the statement's closing balance, the period is reconciled and Talisk keeps it in your reconciliation history. Import the month's transactions first: either through a connected bank or by uploading the statement on the Statements tab.
Good to know: You need a bank account with its transactions imported (a live bank
connection or an uploaded statement) before you can reconcile.
