Connect Square, PayPal or Stripe

Connect a payment processor so its payouts post to your books and reconcile to your bank:

  1. Go to Ledger › Setup (the Businesses tab).
  2. On your business card, in the Integrations panel, click Connect more.
  3. In the Connect integration window pick Square, Stripe, or PayPal. Square and Stripe redirect you to sign in; PayPal asks for the Client ID and Secret from a REST app you create in your PayPal dashboard (with Transaction Search enabled).

Their settled payouts then post to your ledger and match your bank deposits automatically, and you'll see them on the Ledger Dashboard and, if you also run a storefront, the Payouts tab. A processor alone doesn't add the Ecommerce section: that's for Shopify and WooCommerce stores.

Good to know: These are payment processors, not storefronts, so connecting one does not add the Ecommerce sidebar: their payouts surface on the Ledger Dashboard and Payouts. "Connect Stripe" here imports your existing Stripe payouts; it's a different setup from accepting card payments on invoices.
