A message shows a preview instead of the whole email

Your mail provider sends TALISK_HQ two different things for every message: a short preview that travels with the message list, and the full body, which is fetched separately. Outlook's preview is capped at 255 characters and is cut wherever it happens to land, often in the middle of a word.

When the full body has arrived, TALISK_HQ shows it. When it has not, TALISK_HQ says so rather than showing you the preview and letting it pass for the message.

What you will see

Loading message... means the full text is on its way. It normally lands in well under a second. Nothing is wrong and there is nothing to do.

Preview only: the full message could not be loaded. means the fetch finished and came back without the body. Underneath it you get the short preview, so you can still tell what the message is about, and a Retry button.

Press Retry first. It asks your mail provider for the message again, and in most cases that is all it takes.

If Retry does not fix it

Three things stop a message body arriving.

1. The connection needs reconnecting. Go to Settings, then Email, and look for a mailbox flagged for reconnection. A mailbox whose access has expired can still list your messages while refusing to hand over their contents.
2. You are offline. TALISK_HQ shows a banner across the top when the link is down. Reconnect and press Retry.
3. The message is no longer in the mailbox. If it was deleted from Outlook or Gmail after TALISK_HQ listed it, there is nothing left to fetch. The preview is all that survives.

Forwarding

Forward needs the real message. If you press it while the body is still loading, TALISK_HQ tells you the message is still loading and does not open the forward. Wait a moment and press it again.

This is deliberate. Forwarding the preview would send somebody a shortened copy of the email under the original sender's name, and neither you nor they would have any way to tell that most of it was missing.

Why Outlook or Gmail shows more

Your provider's own web mail always has the full message: it is reading its own store. TALISK_HQ fetches a copy. A message that reads in full in Outlook and stops part way in TALISK_HQ is a message whose body has not arrived here yet, not a message that arrived incomplete.
