Connect a Gmail, Outlook or IMAP mailbox
Talisk works from your existing mailbox:
- Go to Settings (the Email tab).
- Under Email Accounts, click + Add email account for Gmail or Outlook, or Connect IMAP for any other provider.
- For Gmail/Outlook, pick Connect with Google or Connect with Microsoft and approve access in the window that opens. For IMAP, enter your host and sign-in details.
Your mail then syncs into Talisk. You can connect more than one mailbox; the most recently connected one is the active view.
If an account later shows a warning, click ⚠ Reconnect on its card to re-authorize: this keeps your existing history. Removing an account keeps its history and merges back on reconnect; only Delete everything wipes it.
Good to know: Gmail and Outlook connect through a branded "Connect your email" page rather
than inline, so the Add button navigates you there; IMAP connects inline. If a
mailbox stops syncing, use its Reconnect button: it re-authorizes in place
and keeps your history.
