See your bills on your phone
Anything you scan on your phone, and anything TALISK_HQ picks up from your email, lands in the same place. On your phone, open Money, then tap Bills and receipts. It tells you how many are waiting for you.
The list is in three parts:
- To review is what still needs you. Nothing has been posted for these yet.
- In your books is what has already gone through. These have journal entries behind them.
- Everything else holds cancelled and discarded documents, and anything filed as a duplicate.
Tap any row to see the document, the supplier, the date and the amount. Above the buttons, TALISK_HQ names the set of books it is saving to, so you always know where a tap is going to land.
From a document still in To review you can:
- Approve it, which records it the same way the confirm screen does after a scan. This is the only thing on the phone that puts a document into your books.
- File as a bill or File as a receipt, if it came in as the wrong one. This only changes the label while it is in review, and moves no money.
- Move it into my review queue, when TALISK_HQ was not confident enough about a document to offer anything else.
- Say Not a bill? when it is a statement, an advert or a delivery note that should never have been captured.
Removing one asks you first, and says what happens: it moves to the discard pile, and you can restore it later.
Everything above is offered only while the document is in To review. Once something is in your books it has a journal entry behind it, and changing or removing it would mean undoing that entry and unpicking any bank line it was matched to. TALISK_HQ asks you to do those from a computer instead. If a document is approved while you are looking at it, the options disappear and TALISK_HQ says why.
The list shows your most recent documents. The number at the top is everything waiting for you, including anything further back than the list itself shows.
Nothing here is a swipe. Every action is a button you tap on purpose.
